Winter Trails - a free introduction
Soldier Hollow and Snow Industries America team up to bring Winter Trails to everyone. Free skiing and snowshoeing for first timers.
• A free national consumer event that offers “first-timers” a chance to try snowshoeing and cross country skiing at nearly 100 venues in the U.S. and Canada.
• Winter Trails is part of Winter Feels Good, a nationwide public awareness campaign created by SIA to promote the health, fitness, and social aspects of snow sports participation.

BASH Triathlon + USAT National Championshps
Who's ready to BATTLE it out on the snow?!? BASH Winter Triathlon is just that...a Winter Multisport event that consists of running, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing - all performed on the packed and groomed XC ski trails of the World famous Soldier Hollow (former 2002 Winter Olympic Venue). BASH is a perfect way to learn new sports, improve your base fitness, and expand your skills as a multi-sport athlete during the off-season. More info here BASH

Soldier Hollow Junior Olympics
The Soldier Hollow Junior Olympics is the country's largest junior competition, and is utilized by five or more USSA Divisions as a Super Qualifier for the nationwide USSA Junior Olympics. What a great legacy use of the former Olympic venue. While the juniors race, over 80% of our terrain remains open for recreational skiing, including Pony Express, Goin' Home, Rollercoaster, Spin 'n' Grin, and City Slicker. More info? Heber Valley Pow Wow at Soldier Hollow
The popular Heber Valley Pow Wow at Soldier Hollow is once again joined by a Mountain Man Rendezvous. In addition to many dance contests, we will again highligh special sessions where Native American dancers and singers (and Mountain Men) bring their history, culture and skills to the audience. Audience participation includes Q and A, stories, and interpretation. Don't miss this fascinating addition. More info

Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Championships

Pre Winter Ski Sale and Tree Tag Sale
Excellent used cross country ski packages as low as $189 for adults/$75 for juniors. The sale is Friday and Saturday, November 5-6, from 8 am to 5 pm.
TOKO and SWIX wax,accessories, gloves and hats are 20-50% off.
Also, these are the last days for early season discounted season and ten punch passes.
Tree tags will be sold by the Forest Service starting at 8 each morning.

Soup and Soldier Hollow Fundraiser
The tenth annual Soup and Soldier Hollow fundraiser is Friday evening, November 12, with great soups from eight of Heber Valley's best restaurants. Soup's on at 6 p.m., with many silent auction items to bid on. Our live auction starts at 7:30 p.m. Don't miss this popular event, supporting Team Soldier Hollow.

Soldier Hollow opens for the season for cross country skiing and tubing on December 4.

Nordic Combined World Tour
The world returns with stars of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Tentative dates, subject to USSA and FIS approval.

Wasatch Citizen Series Race
Everyone's favorite way to start the winter season. Age and ability groups for everyone. This first race of the year is classic technique. For more info click here.
